Terms of Service

DocReady is a trading name of YFT Legal Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company no. 17432534, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. Last updated: 3 October 2026

1. Who we are and these terms

These terms are a contract between you and YFT Legal Ltd, trading as DocReady (“we”, “us”). They apply from the moment you first use DocReady. By using DocReady you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use DocReady.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any dispute about them.

2. What you get for £79

Starting and filling in a Form E on DocReady is free. You pay only to download it. The price is £79. We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added.

For £79 you get:

  • one completed Form E, for your own financial disclosure, as a PDF you can download; and
  • the right to edit that Form E and download it again as often as you like until its deletion date.

The deletion date is 90 days after you pay. On that date your form answers and your email address are deleted from our systems, though they may remain in encrypted backups for up to 7 days. We email you 7 days before, naming the date, as a reminder to download your document. Nothing you do after paying moves that date: not an edit, not a download, not signing in again. Our privacy policy explains this in full. Keep your own copy of the PDF, because we cannot recover it after the deletion date.

If you need an updated Form E after the deletion date, or a Form E for a different set of proceedings, that is a new form and a new payment.

3. No outcome is promised

We do not promise that a court, the other party or anyone else will accept your Form E, or any particular result in your proceedings, including the outcome of any financial settlement.

4. Guidance, not legal advice

DocReady explains what each Form E question asks and what to include in your answer. It does not give legal advice, does not act for you, and is not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. You are responsible for checking that everything in your Form E is complete, accurate and up to date before you sign it or give it to anyone. If you are unsure about any part of your financial disclosure, you should consider obtaining independent legal advice.

Our Disclaimers form part of these terms.

5. Who may use DocReady

DocReady is for the person whose Form E it is. You may have anyone you choose help you fill it in, such as a friend, a family member or a McKenzie friend.

A solicitor, mediator, accountant or other professional may not use DocReady to complete a client’s Form E as part of their own service. A solicitor, mediator, charity or anyone else who recommends DocReady to people so that they can use it themselves is not using DocReady, and is welcome to do so.

6. Your right to cancel

Your Form E is digital content that is available to download as soon as you pay. Before you pay, you will be asked to agree that we supply it immediately and to acknowledge that, as a result, you lose the 14-day right to cancel that would otherwise apply under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. You cannot complete payment without giving that consent. We then confirm it in writing on the invoice emailed to you after payment.

Losing the right to cancel does not affect your rights if your Form E is faulty, set out in section 7.

7. If something goes wrong with your PDF

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it is not, you are entitled to a repair or replacement and, in some cases, to some or all of your money back. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.

In addition, if your Form E PDF will not open, or prints wrongly, email us and we will either fix it or refund the £79 you paid.

This promise covers the PDF file itself. It does not cover the answers you entered, which are yours to check.

8. Our liability to you

Our total liability to you in connection with DocReady, however it arises, is limited to the price you paid us.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including the outcome of your proceedings or of any financial settlement.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
  • anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Contact, complaints and refunds

For complaints, refund requests or any question about these terms, email support@docready.co.uk.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Each purchase is bound by the version that was live when you agreed to it at checkout, and a later change does not alter it.
